We are excited to announce the launch of the Instow Village Hall Benefactos Scheme, our
new way for our community, friends and supporters to help secure the future of our much
loved hall.
Why a Benefactors Scheme?
Since March 2023, thanks to your generosity of our local community supporting successful
fundraising events, we’ve been able to build reserves in the Save Our Hall fund. This has
already allowed us to make important improvements, including upgrades to the sound and
lighting system and modernisation of the toilets.
But there is more to do. Our next priority is major building improvements which include full
insulation plus a new heating and hot water system powered by green technologies. These
works are essential to:
- Make the hall warmer, more comfortable and energy efficient
- Support our existing users, clubs and classes
- Attract new groups and activities
- Ensure the hall remains a true social hub for everyone in Instow and the surrounding
area
How You Can Help
By becoming a Benefactor you’ll be directly supporting this vital work. Here’s how it works:
- Commit a donation over 1, 2, or 3 years of whatever you can afford
- If you are a UK taxpayer, complete our simple Gift Aid form to increase your donation
by 25% at no extra cost - Your donation will be held in the Save our Hall fund, ring-fenced exclusively for hall
improvements.
Our Promise to You
We will:
- Use your donation only for improvements to the hall.
- Continue to generate additional income through events, grants, and partnerships.
- Keep you regularly updated on progress, so you can see the difference your support
is making.
