Instow Parish Council & the Instow / Arromanches Twinning Association are delighted to be hosting a special event to mark the 80th anniversary of the D Day Landings.
Guest speaker Richard Bass (historian and military archeologist, he has appeared on TV and written numerous articles on the subject) will give an illustrated talk on the role of North Devon leading up to D Day. We hope we will be joined by 2 GI re-enactors from Friends of the Assault Training Center and their jeeps (not in the village hall).
